Biography: Mr. Palermo is a local graduate of North Allegheny School District and is a proud Pittsburgh native. He graduated first in his class and summa cum laude from The Pennsylvania State University with a B.S. in Secondary Social Studies Education with minors in History, Political Science, and Music Performance. 

Prior to joining Seneca Valley School District, Mr. Palermo completed his student teaching at Upper St. Clair High School and went on to receive the Penn State Outstanding Student Teacher of the Year Award. Immediately thereafter, he began his career teaching social studies at Mt. Lebanon High School for one semester.

Currently, Mr. Palermo teaches 7th grade World Cultures at Ryan Gloyer Middle School and is part of the Cougars Team.

In his free time, Mr. Palermo enjoys learning about all types of history, different cultures, and international politics. He also enjoys playing the double bass, listening to music, watching star wars, and spending time with friends and family.
