Welcome to my Chemistry Website!

Hello!

Here's a little bit about me... I earned my bachelor's degree in chemistry education at Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP).  I earned my master's degree at Duquesne University in instructional technology. Most recently, I earned my doctoral degree in 2020 from IUP. 

I have over 20 years of experience at Seneca Valley. Over the years I have taught various levels of chemistry including Principles of Chemistry, Academic Chemistry, CHS Chemistry, AP Chemistry, and Organic and Biochemistry. I also teach general science courses in the SV Academy of Choice.

Over the years I've been an advisor for the student council and national honor society. I also previously served as the science department chair and advised the outdoor adventure club and the ultimate frisbee club.

In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family and participating in water sports like kayaking and paddleboarding. I also enjoy camping and backpacking.
